Sitting in Denver International Airport right now, waiting to board my flight. Decided to post a photo from my drive up Pikes Peak yesterday evening. It’s a really nice drive and I recommend it to everyone visiting Colorado Springs.
Pikes Peak View
I was able to drive up to the 14,110 foot summit of Pikes Peak just outside of Colorado Springs after work today. I almost wasn’t going to because I’m ready to get home and stop living out of a hotel. But I’m really glad I went up there. I can thank my coworkers for telling me every day that I should make the trip up. I suggest anyone visiting CO to try and make it up to the summit of one of the fourteeners. But give yourself enough time (a couple days) to get acclimated at the lower elevations first.
Garden of the Gods – Palmer Trail
The start of the Palmer Trail Loop in Garden of the Gods. I highly recommend this trail if you happen to be visiting this great park.

I went for a hike in Garden of the Gods park earlier this evening and it was awesome. A very scenic area. I got way too many photos to process at the moment and I want to go back and get more…This is part of the Siamese Twins rock formation.
